Game Plan Mobile App
Over the past year, I've lead the design efforts for the Elias Game Plan mobile app. The Game Plan app is a companion app for sports bettors and fatasy sports players. Below are examples of some of the features that I've designed or re-designed recently.
Insights On Every Game
In this project, I re-designed home page navigation, the insights cards and designed an all new full screen insights modal to improve the readability and organization of detailed sports insights.
Accurate and Timely Injury Updates
The pain points mentioned most by our users and target audience during our user interviews and tests were related to player injuries and their struggles getting up-to-date and accurate information regarding those player injuries. In this project, I designed injury report features with multiple touchpoints including an "Injuries and Impact" card and full screen modal that display on every game page.
Personalizing the Experience
One of the major items on our product road map is to add more ways to personalize the experience for our users. I learned from competitive analysis that many pro sports related apps allow users to follow their favorite teams and players so that the app can currate content on an individual user bases to reflect their preferences.
Fantasy Import
With each new pro sports season, we want to deliver new valuable features to support the upcoming season and our users. In 2022 we wanted to build something before the "22-23" NFL season that would support our users who are fantasy football players by adding features that could help them gain an edge on in their fantasy football leagues.
